Cherie Zamazing
Hello, I'm Cherie! I graduated in 2005 from Loughborough University with a BA Hons degree in illustration.
I have always been on track to illustrate, from the age of one year; when I surprised my mum by drawing a face, don't know who it was though as I couldn't even talk!
Needless to say, from that day I was destined for a career in art. So here I am still sketching, painting and enjoying creating images!
As an Illustrator I have always been interested in telling stories within my work. I enjoy creating characters and pay particular attention to their expressions.
After leaving University I was commissioned to create characters for an up and coming animation series, which is currently in, talks with the BBC.
On a personal level I love to experiment; over the years I've had a number of different 'looks'- whether this be with my hair do's, makeup or outfits, I'm forever changing. This is also reflected within my work. I have never been able to settle with one particular 'look', preferring to try out different media and styles. I think this helps to feed my creativity, keeping my ideas fresh and versatile.
I always aim to convey a sense of fun within my art and hope that people enjoy my images as much as I enjoy creating them.
